Obama’s Spending Plan is a Farce

President Barack Obama thinks this is a good year to begin cutting the federal deficit, but his ideas probably aren’t going to fly with a heavily divided Congress. For once, the president’s plan is being seen for what it is: Another chance to kick the can down the road to another budget year and avoid the massive problem of spending cuts.
Obama has proposed nearly $4 trillion in cuts over a 10-year period, but they are cuts he knows Congress will not approve. ABC News reported Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., is so confident the measure will be defeated, McConnell plans to introduce it himself.
