Bozell: Obama’s Budget “A Cruel Joke On Those Who Have Suffered Most” Under ObamaApril 10, 2013
“This budget does absolutely nothing to steer us back toward fiscal sanity, nothing to generate growth that would help lift 50 million Americans out of poverty and off food stamps.”
ALEXANDRIA, Va. – ForAmerica Chairman L. Brent Bozell III today released a statement regarding the budget released by the White House this morning.
“President Obama finally got around to submitting his budget – months after the legally-mandated deadline – and it’s another clunker full of tax increases, giveaways to his corporate cronies and even more spending during a time of fiscal crisis. After running around the country for years asking for a ‘balanced approach’ to the shambolic budgetary situation he has made worse during his time in office, his budget never actually balances. So, after previous budgets got zero votes in Congress, the President has shown once again that he has no intention of balancing our books. This budget does absolutely nothing to steer us back toward fiscal sanity, nothing to generate growth that would help lift 50 million Americans out of poverty and off food stamps. This budget is a cruel joke on those who have suffered the most under Barack Obama.”
