Today, ForAmerica congratulates Eric Burlison on his win in the GOP primary for the 7th Congressional District of Missouri. ForAmerica had previously endorsed Eric.
ForAmerica President David Bozell said:
Eric is a bold fighter for Second Amendment rights, which he proved by sponsoring and passing Constitutional Carry and Stand Your Ground Laws, overriding a governor's veto to get it passed. He also sponsored the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, showing his commitment to protecting life. Eric is exactly the kind of constitutional conservative his district will need in Washington to fight the Democrats’ radical agenda.
Eric currently serves in the Missouri Senate representing the 20th Senatorial District, comprising of Christian County and part of Greene County. Before his election to the Senate, he represented the 133rd District in the Missouri House of Representatives.
Eric will now compete as the Republican nominee in November’s general election against Kristen Radaker-Sheafer (D) and Kevin Craig (L). ForAmerica looks forward to helping Eric get to Washington where he can be an effective conservative voice.
Bozell added:
7th District voters will be proud to have him as their congressman.
ForAmerica believes in guaranteed constitutional rights, including the right to life at every stage of life. We believe America should have unlimited education and economic opportunities.
