ForAmerica Congratulates Sarah Palin...

Today, ForAmerica congratulates Sarah Palin for advancing to the general election on November 8, 2022 as one of the top four candidates from Alaska's House primary. ForAmerica had previously endorsed Sarah.

Twenty-two candidates were on the primary ballot - nine Republicans, one Democrat, three minor party candidates, and nine undeclared or nonpartisan candidates.

Nearly two years ago, Alaska voters approved a ballot measure to change Alaska's voting system to a ranked-choice system. Under this new system, all candidates, regardless of party affiliation run in single primary election. The four candidates who receive the most votes advance to the general election, where the winner is decided.

ForAmerica President David Bozell said:

Sarah is obviously no stranger to the conservative movement. She has consistently stood up for the right to life, limited government, our Second Amendment rights, and has never cowered to the radical Left.

Sarah was the GOP’s first female vice presidential nominee when she ran as the late John McCain’s pick in 2008, after serving as Alaska’s governor in addition to two terms on the Wasilla City Council and two terms as that city’s mayor. In her mayoral role, Sarah reduced taxes, attracted new businesses and made her city the fastest growing city in Alaska.

Bozell added:

We need more strong conservatives like Sarah in Washington.

ForAmerica looks forward to supporting Sarah in the next couple of months leading to the general election. (On a side note, ForAmerica is also rooting for Sarah to be the victor in the special general election to fill the late Congressman Don Young's seat until January 2023.)

ForAmerica believes in guaranteed constitutional rights, including the right to life at every stage of life. We believe America should have unlimited education and economic opportunities. We believe America should be energy independent using American resources. We demand the freedom to speak and practice our faith. We will accept nothing less than fair and honest elections, and a government that is transparent, accountable, and stays off the backs of the American people as much as possible.
