Today, ForAmerica announced its endorsement of Eric Burlison, candidate for the United States House of Representatives, to represent the 7th Congressional District of Missouri. ForAmerica will engage its audience to act, because when ForAmerica engages, America wins!
ForAmerica President David Bozell said:
ForAmerica is pleased to endorse Eric Burlison for Congress. Eric is a proven constitutional conservative who fights for Missourians' liberties and freedoms.
Eric Burlison currently serves in the Missouri Senate representing the 20th Senatorial District, comprising of Christian County and part of Greene County. Before his election to the Senate, he represented the 133rd District in the Missouri House of Representatives.
Bozell added:
Eric understands the importance of Second Amendment rights, sponsoring and passing Constitutional Carry and Stand Your Ground Laws, including overcoming a governor's veto to get it done. He also recognizes the value of life, faith, and family. He sponsored the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act. His statehouse peers even saw fit to make Eric the founding Chairman of the Conservative Caucus. Eric has long established himself as the kind of no-nonsense conservative fighter Missouri needs. Voters in in the 7th Congressional District will be proud to have Eric as their next congressman.
Eric Burlison, who has two daughters with his wife, Angie, is on the ballot running against seven other Republican candidates in Missouri's Republican primary on August 2, 2022. The 7th Congressional District seat is currently held by Republican Congressman Billy Long. Congressman Long is not seeking reelection, rather he is running for the U.S. Senate to represent Missouri. If Eric Burlison wins the Republican primary, he will advance to the general election on November 8, 2022.
