The American media has given blanket negative coverage to Donald Trump throughout the second term of his presidency.
And the American people... have seen right through it.
Real Clear Politics' weekly average of seven of the most prominent polls show that those who believe the country is heading in the right direction is on the brink of a 61 year high.
That's big.
In other words, the establishment press can trash the president all they want, but it's not working.
People aren't buying the propaganda.
ForAmerica President David Bozell shared on X Friday, “Kudos to President Trump and his team for muscling through near universally negative media coverage to post this ‘right direction’ spike."
Bozell shared a post from Rasmussen Reports Pollster Mark Mitchell, who used the Real Clear Politics chart to back up what his own polling data also showed.
Rasmussen has that same number as 48 percent, up one percent from last week.
“It isn't just our numbers," Mitchell said. "@RCPolitics Right Direction number is 1 point away from being better than at any point in their last 16 years.”
43.6 percent of Americans now say the country is headed in "the right direction" compared to last week's 43.0 percent, according to RCP's poll average.
The highest that number has ever gone is 45.0 percent.
And that happened 16 years ago in June 2009.
Rasmussen has bounced from 47 to 48 percent on "right direction" in just the last few days.
President Trump just needs to keep doing what President Trump has been doing, and let the media keep doing what they have been doing.
Because one of those things is working.
