Caught on Fox: Senator Denies Dems Back Healthcare For Illegals

After the government shutdown on Wednesday over Democrats not willing to let go of healthcare benefits for illegal immigrants, many Democrats are now claiming they really aren't for these benefits going to illegals.

Many deny that any Democrat has ever believed this.

Sen. Jeanne Shaheen is one of them.

She did this during an interview on Fox & Friends Thursday with host Lawrence Jones.

But he didn't let her get away with it.

Shaheen said, “I haven’t heard anybody in my party saying that illegal immigrants should get access to the health insurance marketplace,”

Jones responded, "I’m so glad you said that."

He continued, "Actually, I have some tape of of your Democratic Party members saying this on the debate stage. So they’ve all said it. And let’s play the clip.”

A 2019 Democratic presidential debate clip played showing Today host Samantha Guthrie asking the candidates a question. Guthrie said, “A lot of you have been talking tonight about these government health care plans that you proposed in one form or another."

"This is a show of hands question and hold them up for a moment so people can see," Guthrie said.

She asked, "Raise your hand if your government plan would provide coverage for undocumented immigrants.”

Every single Democrat raised their hand.

And the largely Democrat audience applauded it.

The White House even shared the clip:

Jones said to Sen. Shaheen, “Senator, that’s — that’s literally every member of your party, from moderate to more progressive that have said that in the past."

He was right. This is not something Republicans just now are making up, as many Democrats contend.

Dems who say their party never supported healthcare benefits for illegals are simply lying.

Sorry Dems, you've been caught red-handed.
