CNN's Scott Jennings: 'All of the Rhetoric, the Fascism, the Hitler... It Was All a Bunch of BS'

For eight years, the Left told us that Donald Trump was Adolf Hitler. Never mind the fact that when he was president he did not behave like Hitler.

But we are not dealing in reality here, when it comes to these people.

For Democrats, Trump is Hitler - end of story. Don't you dare apply any logic or reality to that statement. No matter how stupid it is.

Now that Trump has won the election, some of the leftists who called him Hitler are now meeting with him, CNN's Scott Jennings is calling these people out.

And it is glorious.

Trump met with both Joe Biden and the “Morning Joe” co-hosts, Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski, less than two weeks after he won the election.

During the CNN panel on which Scott Jennings was on Tuesday, his fellow panelist, Democratic strategist Julie Roginsky compared Biden’s meeting with the President-elect to a scene from 1981 “Superman 2” movie starring Christopher Reeve, where the fictional American president “knelt before Zod.”

Jennings didn't hold back, outright mocking Democrats who have called Trump "Hitler."

“I did not expect Hitler to get so many meeting requests," Jennings said. "First from Joe Biden, now from Mika and Joe, it’s amazing that literal Hitler is getting all these meeting requests."

Jennings said this to the panel, but most directly to Jeff Jarvis, a professor of journalism at the City University of New York.

Jennings continued, “And what it tells me, professor, is that all the rhetoric that came from the left, from the Democrats, from the White House, from Kamala Harris and everyone else before the election, all of the rhetoric, the fascism, the Hitler, the Nazi rally, it was all a bunch of BS."

"They didn’t mean any of it... I would be looking at all my leaders and going, did you just BS me for an entire six weeks before the election?" Jennings added.

Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris had called Trump a "fascist" at a recent CNN town hall. News outlets like MSNBC, The New York Times, and even Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz compared Trump’s recent rally at Madison Square Garden to a 1939 pro-Nazi rally.

Professor Jarvis still defended calling Trump a fascist.

“I just reread Hannah Arendt’s ‘The Origins of Totalitarianism,’ and I cannot tell you how relevant it is to today. What has gone on in totalitarian regimes before is what is happening in this country right now,” Jarvis responded to Jennings. “It is fascism. His generals called him fascist. Joe Scarborough called him fascist, and now the fascist is in charge and it is journalism’s job to cover it that way, not to back off and say okay, well that’s it, we lost, let the fascism happen. No.”

Dem strategist Roginsky was disgusted that the 'Morning Joe' hosts weren't still dedicated to the Left's 'Trump is Hitler' mythology.

Scott Jennings is right. These people are full of it.

They never really believed that, but saw value in feeding their audiences this misinformation and lies.

It made them feel good. Whether it was true or not was never a question.

This kind of deception is also why Donald Trump won. Voters were sick and tired of being lied to day in and day out.

So Democrats...

Thanks for the help.
