Conservatives React to Trump on Obama and Russiagate: 'This Was Treason'

In 2016, the entire Democratic Party apparatus cooked up a conspiracy theory that Donald Trump and Russia had somehow worked together to deliver him the 2016 presidential election.

After a two-year investigation, Special Counsel Robert Mueller found no evidence for any such "collusion."

Now, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has released a declassified file that contains "overwhelming evidence" that the Obama administration “manufactured and politicized intelligence” after Trump won the election.

On Tuesday, President Trump said former President Barack Obama was guilty of "treason."

A reporter asked Trump in the Oval Office if the DOJ should go after the Obama administration.

“Well, based on what I read … it would be President Obama. He started it. And Biden was there with him. And Comey was there. And Clapper, the whole group was there. Brennan, they were all there in a room,” Trump said.

He continued, “Right here, this was the room … If you look at those papers, they have them stone cold. And it was President Obama. It wasn’t lots of people all over the place. It was them too. But the leader of the gang was President Obama, Barack Hussein Obama. Have you heard of him?”

Trump added, “And except for the fact that he gets shielded by the press for his entire life … Look, he’s guilty. It’s not a question. You know, I like to say, let’s give it time. It’s there, he’s guilty."

"This was treason," Trump declared.

"This was every word you can think of," he said. "They tried to steal the election. They tried to obfuscate the election. They did things that nobody’s ever even imagined, even in other countries.”

The sitting president accusing a former president of treason is a serious charge.

Conservatives took notice.

Scorched earth.

"The DOJ should GO DIRECTLY after Obama."

"President Obama, it was his idea, but he also got it from Crooked Hillary Clinton!"

Saying the quiet part out loud.

Gabbard's released memo file claims that “Deep State officials in the [intelligence community began] leaking blatantly false intelligence to The Washington Post," and that the CIA had “concluded in a secret assessment that Russia intervened” to assist Trump.

Sounds legit!

This is is just the beginning of this.

How many on Team Obama were involved? How much was Barack Obama himself involved?

Time will tell, but based on what he's seen so far, President Trump is obviously already convinced.
