Facebook Censors Tucker Carlson, Calls ‘False News’

Tucker Carlson is one of the most popular cable news hosts in America, but that didn't stop Facebook from censoring the Fox News host for allegedly promoting “false news.”

Carlson shared a photo of a message his page received, informing the administrators that Facebook now has “reduced distribution and other restrictions because of repeated sharing of false news. People will also be able to see if a Page has a history of sharing false news.”

Facebook did not say exactly what the supposed “false news” was, or even if the restrictions the tech giant imposed would be lifted before the November election.

“Today’s censorship by Facebook” said Carlson, in his reply to the action. “It’s no coincidence that the election is just weeks away.

Expect social media censorship to ramp up - especially restricting conservative media - as we get closer to the election. Facebook honcho Mark Zuckerberg once said he was committed to maintaining his giant platform as a place for free speech, but that not how it has often worked out in reality. Facebook even censored an ad from the Trump campaign that condemned Antifa violence.

If a figure as dominant in media as Tucker Carlson can be censored, are any conservatives safe?
