'False Impression': CNN's Brian Stelter Says Americans Can't Be Trusted to Understand L.A. Riot Videos

There are anti-ICE riots raging in Los Angeles. There are many videos taken of the violence and mayhem unraveling by those who are there. Some of the scenes are hard to watch.
CNN's Brian Stelter says Americans shouldn't be trusted to watch them anyway.
Seriously, he said this. Stelter basically told his audience they were too stupid to know what they were looking at.
Stelter told co-hosts Brianna Keilar and Boris Sanchez that social media algorithms would create a “false impression” of the actual conditions in L.A.
“We all live on our phones these days," Stelter said. "We’re all scrolling through social media. You’ve got to be careful at a delicate moment like this to look at the time stamps, look at the dates, look at when things are actually posted, and if they‘re really from the situation they’re purporting to be.”
He added, “A lot of these algorithms are surfacing hours or even days-old content.”
Maybe? Also L.A. is in chaos right now and people are filming it.
Sorry, you're not going to "algorithm" your way out of that fact, Brian.
He continued, “So you might be looking at a video of something, wondering what’s happening in L.A., it’s actually from two days ago."
Fine. The current riots started five days ago.
“And that’s, you know, it only matters because it can give people a false impression of what’s actually happening at a moment of unrest," he added.
It was pathetic, but pure CNN.
President Trump has sent 700 Marines and the National Guard to help quell the violence.
If anyone takes videos of them, make sure you check the time stamp, for Brian Stelter.
As for the physical violence, vandalism, rock throwing, smashed windows and other madness, yes, that's all definitely happening too.
Whether some at CNN want to admit it or not.
