Gas Prices Hit Four Year Low

Just a few weeks ago, President Donald Trump predicted that gas prices would soon come down, something many disputed.

In mid-October, the White House celebrated gas prices coming down to a four year low, which was also disputed.

On Monday, it was reported that gas prices had finally hit a four year low.

CBS News reported, "Drivers are getting some relief at the pump, with the average price of a gallon of gas falling to its lowest level in more than four years, according to new data from GasBuddy, an app that helps drivers find deals on fuel."

"Gas now costs $2.95 per gallon on average, down 8.5 cents over the last week and 5.4 cents lower than a year ago, the data show," the story noted. "That marks the lowest price at the pump since May 2021, the company said."

This is obviously great news.

So great that even MSNBC, CNN and other establishment news outlets couldn't deny it.

In Colorado, one gas station had a $1.97 a gallon.

WAY down from what the price was six months ago.

CBS News noted, "GasBuddy said average prices have fallen in all 50 states in what it calls an 'exceptionally rare and broad-based retreat.' The decline is due to strong refinery output and lower crude oil prices, as well as softer seasonal fuel demand, the company added."

Regardless, this is comforting news for Americans during this high travel season.

And no matter how it gets spun, the president did predict gas prices would come down, his critics scoffed, and now they have come down considerably.

Enjoy it while it lasts.
