It's Time to FINALLY CUT ALL Taxpayer Dollars to NPR and PBS

Public Broadcasting Service and National Public Radio are two taxpayer funded outlets that are sharply biased toward the Left and against conservatives. Both have been federally support for decades.

Why should Americans be funding them?

We shouldn't be.

An important point Republican Congressman Brandon Gill recently made in an op-ed on Tuesday, "I am laser-focused on rescinding every dollar of federal funding for state-sponsored media."

"This is the Land of the Free, not China, Russia or North Korea, and yet over $535 million in taxpayer dollars keep National Public Radio (NPR) and Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) spewing leftist activism and labeling it journalism," he noted.

That pretty much sums it up.

Gill wrote for Fox News, "Let’s be clear: NPR and the federally funded Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) aren’t neutral media institutions. They are propaganda machines forcing a worldview that sneers at middle America, celebrates fringe ideology and defends the very institutions that have failed everyday Americans. PBS has repeatedly pushed critical race theory and gender ideology in the classroom, exposing minors to salacious drag queen programming – all on the taxpayer’s dime."

"The days of using our tax dollars on state-sponsored propaganda are coming to a harsh end," he wrote (emphasis added). "That begins by immediately passing a rescissions package to claw back every last cent of the over $1 billion in future funding already earmarked for NPR and PBS."

Absolutely.

President Trump vowed to cut off funding to NPR and PBS and that begins by Congress passing a rescissions package, as Rep. Gill notes.

Like strengthening the border and dismantling the Department of Education, this is one of the basic promises made to conservatives should Republicans take back the White House and Congress.

NPR and PBS are enjoyed by the elite class, constant confirmation bias for the Left, and we all pay for it.

No more. Get this done. There's no excuse not to get this done.
