Karoline Leavitt SLAMS Jen Psaki's Attack on Prayer in Wake of School Shooting

After the tragic shooting at a Catholic school in Minneapolis, Minnesota this week, former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said she had had "enough" with Christians who offer "thoughts and prayers."

Current White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt called Psaki's comments “incredibly insensitive and disrespectful.”

Psaki made her remarks in response to transgender shooter Robin Westman fatally shooting two children and injuring 17 others at the Annunciation Catholic Church in Minneapolis.

Leavitt said of Psaki's post, “I saw the comments of my predecessor, Ms. Psaki, and frankly I think they’re incredibly insensitive and disrespectful to the tens of millions of people with faith across this country who believe in the power of prayer, who believe that prayer works and that in a time of mourning like this, when beautiful young children were killed while praying in a church,."

"It’s utterly disrespectful to deride the power of prayer in this country,” Leavitt added.

“And it’s disrespectful to the millions of people of faith," she continued. "And I would encourage Ms. Psaki to pray for these families themselves who need it right now more than ever.”

Psaki was not the only Democrat doing this. Democratic Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said that Christians shouldn't just offer their “thoughts and prayers” to the victims of the shooting.

He instead seemingly wanted them to agree with Democrats on the need for increased gun control.

It should be noted that Minnesota already has strict gun laws.

What Democrats who dismiss prayer in the wake of a tragedy like this really seem to be saying is that prayer is worthless. That it isn't real.

They are entitled to their opinion. What they are not entitled to do is insult the millions of Americans for whom prayer is very real and much needed in times like this.

As Vice President JD Vance put it, "We pray because our hearts are broken. We pray because we know God listens. We pray because we know that God works in mysterious ways, and can inspire us to further action."

Amen.

Google pays $300 on a regular basis. My latest salary check was $8600 for working 10 hours a week on the internet. My younger sibling has been averaging $19k for the last few months, and he constantly works approximately 24 hours. I’m not sure how simple it was once I checked it out.

My last pay check was $9500 working 12 hours a week online. My sisters friend has been averaging 15k for months now and she works about 20 hours a week. I can't believe how easy it was once I tried it out.
