Majority of Democrats STILL Believe Trump and Russia Colluded to Win in 2016

There is one major disproven conspiracy theory that it seems Democrats are never going to let go.
After Donald Trump won his first presidential election in 2016, Democrat leaders claimed that he had colluded with Russia and its president, Vladimir Putin, to somehow steal the election from Hillary Clinton.
It was preposterous on its face, but after an extensive two-year investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller, they found no evidence of collusion.
It was all made up. See "Steele Dossier."
But even after such an intense investigation, all these years later a majority of Democrats still believe that the Russia collusion hoax is true.
A recent Rasmussen poll asked, “How likely is it that the Trump campaign colluded with the Russian government to win the 2016 election?”
60 percent of Democrats say it is likely.
38 percent said it was "very likely," and 22 percent said it was "somewhat likely."
29 percent said it was "not very likely," and 15 percent said it was "not likely at all."
Again, 60 percent of Dems still believe this. Despite the investigation, lack of evidence and nothing other than their own partisanship informing their view.
Aren't Democrats the ones always telling conservatives to "follow the science?"
They should take their own advice.
For voters overall, 42 percent still say it’s likely that Trump and Russia colluded in 2016. 49 percent say it is unlikely.
The poll was conducted by surveying 1,014 likely voters on July 6 and 7.
This is not new. A 2018 poll found similar numbers.
Conspiracy theories are often a way for people to cope. They make the person who believes in them feel better and it doesn't matter if they are true or not.
It looks like at least 60 percent of Democrats are still coping with 2016.
