Millionaire Whoopi Goldberg Thinks Americans Need to 'Suck It Up' and Pay 'More Taxes'

Whoopi Goldberg said on Thursday that she thinks Americans need to “suck it up” and “pay a little more taxes.”

"The View" co-host's net worth is $60 million. How convenient for her.

She was very clear about her belief that Americans needed to pay more in taxes.

Goldberg made her comments during a segment on President Trump pausing the tariffs for 90 days.

She said, “A 90-day pause doesn’t mean anything to anyone because people, as you said, are struggling with everyone that they’re living with on a day to day basis. Now you know what we’re fighting against."

Goldberg continued, “But I also believe that it’s very important to remind people that now is the time for each and every one of us to suck it up and make sure that we know what we need to take care of."

Suck it up? No thanks.

Then she got to the higher taxes part.

"If you’re in an area where the school district is losing, then you got to pay a little more taxes and you gotta help the schools out," the co-host said. "If you’re finding that your libraries are falling apart, you have to give more."

Obviously conservatives almost immediately jumped on the arrogance and pomposity of this wealthy woman. 

The nerve of so many Hollywood elites.

The government endlessly wastes our tax dollars and Whoopi wants us to give the government more.

NOPE.

That is something a socialist would say.

You can't pay your bills, but there's a library! Solid logic.

No one is stopping Whoopi from paying more taxes.

"The View" is a show about elites and their warped vision of America, something the co-hosts prove time and again almost every day.

Thursday was just Whoopi's turn.
