We are familiar with 'Never Trump' who absolutely refuse to support Donald Trump no matter what.
But it turns out there are actually more Americans who absolutely will not vote for Biden.
In a new poll, 52 percent of participants said they would never vote for President Joe Biden.
How many said the same about Donald Trump? 46 percent.
The poll was conducted by the New York Times, The Philadelphia Inquirer and Sienna College.
This contrast is very different from the same Biden-Trump matchup in 2020 in which data showed the opposite was true.
Yet another indication that Trump could have a slight advantage over the president as we head toward November.
The Washington Examiner reports, "Three of four such polls since November have more 'Never Biden' voters than 'Never Trump' voters. Voters have had a more favorable view of Trump’s presidency since Biden took office, and that appears to be manifesting in the polls."
"The 'Never Trump' movement originally began in 2015, as Trump built momentum toward his eventual 2016 Republican presidential nomination, with many conservatives vowing to never support him," the Examiner notes. "That group of Republicans united behind former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in 2024, and primary voters are still casting votes for her despite Trump’s clinching of the Republican nomination. Recently, Haley grabbed 21.3% of the vote away from Trump in Maryland’s primary this month."
A new Echelon Insights poll has Trump three points ahead of Biden, 49 percent to the president's 46.
There's going to be a first presidential debate on CNN on June 27th. Some rooting for Joe Biden wonder why his campaign would choose to have a debate so early in the season or even at all, considering the president's seemingly diminished capabilities.
They are likely having the debate because they see these bad numbers for their guy too.
Desperate times.
