After MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace denied that Democrats have compared President Donald Trump to Adolf Hitler, Republican Senator John Kennedy had some choice words for her and Dems like her.
The senator definitely did not hold back.
Kennedy made his remarks during an interview with Fox News' Sean Hannity on Tuesday.
Responding to Wallace's recent denial that Democrats have basically called Republicans "Nazis," Kennedy said what she said was "stupid."
And then some.
“I listened to your monologue, Sean, with all these different characters," the senator from Louisiana said.
"You know, I thought to myself, even duct tape can’t fix stupid,” he added.
“I don’t know Ms. Wallace. I have watched her a little bit," Kennedy continued. "I remember when she worked for President Bush. I suppose she’s not as bad as some members of the liberal media, but that’s faint praise."
"That’s like being the smartest person on ‘The View,'" he said, as Hannity chuckled.
Kennedy then wondered if she had been drinking.
“I’m going to give Ms. Wallace the benefit of the doubt and assume that she said what she said right after her morning beer,” the senator continued.
“The Democrats, they have accused the president, President Trump, of everything except abandoning his children to wolves," he insisted. "They repeatedly, they daily call him a racist and a Nazi.”
The always entertaining Kennedy also had some things to say about Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, who the senator says is now polling about as well as "clubbing baby seals."
He might know a thing or two about varying intelligence levels among political figures. Kennedy released a book titled “How to Test Negative for Stupid: And Why Washington Never Will” in early October.
