Study: Left-Wing Terrorism Reaches 30 Year High

The tragic murder of Charlie Kirk did not happen in a vacuum.

According to a new study, left-wing terrorism in the United States is at a 30 year high.

This data was revealed as Democrats continue to label the Trump administration and Republicans in general as "nazis," "fascists" and worse.

The study was conducted by the Center for Strategic & International Studies.

The New York Post reports, "Left-wing terror attacks are on track to reach a record high this year... Violent plots planned or perpetrated by the far left in the US, as a percentage of all terrorist attacks and plots, hit a high in the first half of 2025, and are on pace to reach a three-decade high by the end of the year..."

"Through July 4, 2025 — thus excluding the assassination of Charlie Kirk and the attack on the Dallas ICE facility — there were five left-wing attacks or plots, the study found," the report noted. "This is more than eight times higher than the average of 0.6 left-wing incidents annually from 1995 to 2000."

The Post also observed, "For the first time in 30 years, terrorist attacks from the far left are outpacing attacks from the extreme right, the analysis also shows."

Researchers noticed this trend beginning when Donald Trump first took presidential office in 2016.

Most of it centered on an intense hatred of all things MAGA and a deeply distorted view of what Trump and his supporters represent.

For example, according to law officials the suspect apprehended in Kirk's murder wrote, “Hey fascist, catch this” on a shell casing.

How, in any way - in any tangible connection to reality - did Kirk represent actual fascism?

This doesn't prevent Democrats from consistently accusing conservatives of being "fascists."

Which is completely reckless and can lead to deadly results, when disturbed people actually believe such propaganda.

The recent violent attacks on ICE facilities are yet more examples of today's radical left and what they are capable of.

The study's authors noted that while political “leaders are not responsible for extremists in their midst,” they also wrote, “they are responsible for how they behave towards extremism.”

Indeed.

It's okay for the Left to disagree with the Right. That's discourse. Freedom. Democracy.

It's not okay for the Left to lie about and slander the Right to the degree that maniacs in their midst are compelled to murder them.

That's terrorism.
