The Elitist Media Networks Have a Campaign Underway
The Democrats don’t need another campaign consultant, they’ve got the elitist media networks.
With less than a month until the midterms, ABC and NBC are serving up different stories with the same message: Republicans are in trouble, Trump is dragging them down, and Democrats are coming to the rescue. All delivered with the solemn expressions of people who would be offended if anyone called them partisan.
ABC highlighted recordings of Ken Paxton discussing campaign challenges in Texas. Fair enough. A candidate’s concerns are newsworthy. But where was the scrutiny of his Democratic opponent, James Talarico, who reportedly hadn’t appeared on the campaign trail for 14 days? Apparently, ABC can find a Republican’s private conversation more easily than a Democrat’s public whereabouts.
In Maine, ABC presented Susan Collins distancing herself from President Trump as evidence of Republican trouble. Susan Collins distancing herself from Trump? Next, they’ll send a correspondent to investigate whether Maine has lobsters. Meanwhile, Democratic divisions, including Gov. Janet Mills’s refusal to endorse Troy Jackson, didn’t make the report.
NBC chose a different route in Ohio: data centers. Viewers heard from angry voters blaming President Trump and Republican Senator Jon Husted. Husted got a response, but nobody appeared to make the case for data centers or explain their potential benefits. NBC announced the issue was “way more complicated than just Republican or Democrat,” then built the report around why voters should be angry with Republicans.
Americans deserve to hear concerns about their communities. Voters also deserve coverage that examines both sides with equal seriousness. Instead, the networks keep handing Democrats the microphone and Republicans the bill.
For America’s 2026 Victory Program puts our message directly in front of Americans through videos, graphics, memes, and hard-hitting campaign content. We’re supporting conservative candidates in key races, exposing their opponents’ records, and advancing ballot measures to protect our elections. When the networks leave out inconvenient facts, we bring them into the conversation.
We have less than a month to reach voters while their decisions are still being made. Every day matters, and hoping the elitist media networks develop a conscience is a lousy campaign strategy.
Please contribute $1,000, $5,000, $10,000, or whatever you can to For America’s 2026 Victory Program today. Your support helps us put more content in front of more voters during the closing weeks when the media’s preferred version of the election is being repeated every night.
