Mere weeks before the 2020 presidential election, Twitter banned the sharing of The New York Post story about emails found on Hunter Biden's alleged laptop that contained damning information about possible business dealings with Ukrainian gas company Burisma.
Media elites said the story was disinformation or even more sinister, "Russian disinformation."
But the story was true. The media - aka the propaganda arm of the Left and Democratic Party - did not want a negative story about Team Biden two weeks before the election, because its mission was to defeat Donald Trump. Facts, schmacks. Truth, smooth. To hell with honest journalism.
Former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey would eventually call the ban a "total mistake" and apologized. Now, The New York Times is catching up and admitting there were emails on Hunter Biden's alleged laptop that were certainly worthy of news.
But you have to wait until paragraph 27 to read it.
The New York Times reported on Thursday:
People familiar with the investigation said prosecutors had examined emails between Mr. Biden, Mr. Archer and others about Burisma and other foreign business activity. Those emails were obtained by The New York Times from a cache of files that appears to have come from a laptop abandoned by Mr. Biden in a Delaware repair shop. The email and others in the cache were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.
Now that Biden is president, the Times can report the truth - but only after having to read 26 other paragraphs.
The Times certainly can't showcase this major story.
The headline should be that the Hunter Biden story is true after the DNC...I mean, media, declared it false. Of course it's not. That would be too embarrassing for the Times, wouldn't it?
Leftists used to claim that Donald Trump was a threat to the free press. If actual truth and integrity in journalism still mattered, the greatest threat to a free press in the United States is the current press. Censoring legit news to help determine election outcomes is propaganda in authoritarian countries and it is propaganda in the United States.
The New York Times, Twitter and all media involved in censoring this story should be ashamed. You can be sure they are not.
