Winsome Earle-Sears SLAMS Dems' 'Nonsense' Transgender Policies

As Virginia's gubernatorial election comes to a head on Tuesday, Republican candidate Winsome Earle Sears had some choice words for Democrats who want to push a transgender agenda on kids.

At a campaign stop last week, where she was joined by Gov. Glenn Youngkin and Attorney General Jason Miyares, Earle-Sears said worrying about school trans accommodations was pure "nonsense."

She made her remarks at the Sutherlin Barn in Halifax County.

“We know how this works, "she said. "You give your tax money. That’s what we do. You’re safe. That’s what we do. We continue to create jobs. That’s what we do.”

Then Earle-Sears had one more thought.

“And you know something else that we do?" Winsome continued. "We make sure that we do not have men in (girls’) locker rooms.

"I mean, have you ever seen such a thing?” she added.

The lieutenant governor has long been outspoken against the left's trans agenda.

During her debate with her Democratic opponent, former Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger, Earle-Sears said, “On the debate stage, I asked her, ’What if your little girl came to you in tears and said she was forced to undress in front of a boy, in front of a man?"

"What would you say? 'Nothing,'” Earle-Sears said.

The country is in a moment in time where the grownups are trying to force children to pretend that biology doesn't exist and male and female don't exist. It's very possible that in the near future Americans will all look back and marvel at how foolish and destructive adults were in misleading and abusing children in this way.

Virginia is no different. Spanberger and her party are all aboard the trans train, and Republican Winsome Earle-Sears couldn't be more against this agenda. Which is the only sane position.
