Day 268: The Results Speak for Themselves

We are 268 days into the Trump administration and America is firmly back on offense.

The numbers tell the story. Tariff revenue is at record highs, inflation is cooling, and the southern border is secure. Abroad, the world is witnessing something few thought possible — tentative peace between Israel and Hamas. All living hostages have been returned, and President Trump now chairs the new Board of Peace overseeing Gaza’s reconstruction.

While this administration racks up real results, Democrats are still holding the government hostage for a 13th straight day. They refuse to fund operations unless illegal immigrants get more taxpayer benefits. The irony could not be more obvious. The Left will shut down the government for non-citizens, but not for the men and women who keep this country running.

Even some of their own are starting to admit it. Bill Maher recently conceded, “I can’t deny the success.” For once, he is right.

There is still work to be done. Two million illegal immigrants have been deported since January, but the job is not finished. Inflation has cooled, but Jerome Powell continues to delay needed rate cuts. The path ahead will not be easy, but for the first time since 2020 the country is clearly moving in the right direction.

Republicans are gaining momentum while Democrats are sinking to a 33 percent approval rating. One party delivers results. The other delivers excuses.

Winning is no longer the goal. It is the standard.
