The CR negotiations have been raging on into the wee hours of the morning every night this week. As Kevin McCarthy and other squishy Republicans seem hell-bent on reneging on their campaign promises, they face opposition from some in the House Freedom Caucus that want to see the border secure, the out-of-control spending slashed, and the 87,000 IRS agents defunded.
