At the State of the Union address, Republicans pressured Joe Biden to say the name of Laken Riley during his speech.
Riley was a young nursing student killed by an illegal alien. Something that could have been prevented if we had any kind of border control and order.
Unfortunately, Riley isn't alone.
12-year-old Travis Wolfe of Hazelwood, Missouri died last week after being taken off life support due to his family's car being hit head-on at over 70 mph by a car in the wrong lane on December 20th.
The driver in the car that collided with his family's vehicle was an illegal alien.
MRCTV reports, "The driver of the other car? One Endrina Bracho, eventually identified as an illegal alien from Venezuela. While police said they weren’t focused on her immigration status as part of their criminal investigation, 'It was just difficult identifying all parties involved because we didn’t have documentation or identifications in the vehicle to try to figure out who the two juveniles and the suspect were.'”
The story continued:
Travis was immediately rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries and placed on life support. His parents were transported with broken wrists and ribs, and a broken sternum, among other injuries, per the Post Millennial.
In addition to being in the country illegally and not having her ID (or, more likely, a license to drive at all) in the vehicle, police said Bracho drove at least 1,700 feet - more than half a mile - going the wrong direction, and was traveling at over 70 mph in a 40-mile per hour zone at the time of the crash.
How many times does this need to happen for this president to begin taking our border problem seriously. Neither of these killers in either case were supposed to even be in the U.S.
It's not enough for Joe Biden to say Laken Riley or Travis Wolfe's name.
It's past time to act and secure the border, but don't be surprised if that has to wait until after November.
