Biden is Too Old to Charge, but an 87-Year Old Pro-Life Concentration Camp Survivor Is Not

Last week, Joe Biden's special counsel said that the president's "poor memory" means he can't be charged with stealing classified documents.

Biden is 81-years-old.

However, if you're an elderly pro-life activist - who survived a concentration camp - you can apparently be arrested.

Eva Edl was one of 11 pro-lifers who was recently arrested by FBI.

Edl is 87-years-old.

Live Action News reports, "Pro-life activist Eva Edl was one of four pro-lifers charged with violating the FACE (Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances) this month in relation to a March 2021 abortion facility rescue at Carafem in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee."

"The event was aimed at reaching abortion-minded women in hopes of helping them to choose life for their babies with confidence," the story noted. "Edl is 87 years old and is a German survivor of a communist prisoner-of-war concentration camp during World War II. Following her escape from that camp, she began a legacy of fighting for the right to life for all human beings."

Edl told Live Action News, “The first time I realized there were abortion clinics in our country was in 1988. I said to my husband, ‘these are the death camps of America.' I saw people sitting in front of abortion clinics in Atlanta, and I’ve been involved ever since."

Think about it. An 87-year-old woman protesting abortion - as if it would be difficult for anyone trying to get into an abortion clinic to get around her - is being federally charged for invoking her First Amendment free speech rights (that's not how they're framing it or charging her, but it's essentially what they're doing)...

BUT...

The President of the United States can't be charged with stealing classified documents - something his political opponent Donald Trump is being charged with - because he's 81-years old?

That's not right any way you cut it.

It's true that Edl has been arrested many times over many years for her pro-life activism but that's not the point.

Joe Biden is being treated special as a senior in a way the rest of us likely wouldn't. Eva Edl's latest arrest is a good comparative example of that.

More people should know her story.

And compare it to his.
