Kamala Harris Says Republicans ‘Endangering Lives’ by Holding Amy Coney Barrett Hearing

Democratic vice presidential nominee Kamala Harris appears to be very upset that Senate Republicans are holding hearings in the hop of confirming Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court.

Harris tweeted on Sunday, "By moving forward with Supreme Court confirmation hearings tomorrow—less than 2 weeks after members tested positive—Chairman Graham and Senate Republicans are endangering the lives of not just members and our staff, but the hardworking people who keep the Senate complex running."

Harris was apparently referring to Republican Sen. Mike Lee who was present at Monday's hearing but also said he received clearance from the Office of the Attending Physician.

Republican Sen. Thom Tillis participated virtually from another location outside the senate.

But Kamala wasn't finished.

Harris tweeted Sunday, "Why are Senate Republicans fast tracking a Supreme Court confirmation? Because in November, the Supreme Court is hearing a case that could overturn the Affordable Care Act. They’ve been trying to dismantle the ACA for years, and confirming this nominee will help ensure that."

Way to deflect, Mrs. Harris. But as to your original point, if your party is so concerned about COVID-19 precautions in the senate, why are so many Democratic senators standing this close together?

What happened to social distancing? Much like protesters and rioters, apparently Democratic members of Congress are immune to coronavirus via their politics?

We knew the left was going to come at Amy Coney Barrett hard. Coronavirus concerns are just one way of doing that, but there will be more attacks as Democrats continue to flail before this impeccable judge and likely future Supreme Court Justice.

Let them try to take her down. They will fail. Miserably.

Including Senator Harris.
