"Teachers are Not Parents" Transcript:
David Bozell: Yesterday, I was thinking to myself. I was wondering why I haven't heard from Biden in a few days. Then I was thinking, that's so refreshing. I mean, man, they're really doing a good job of hiding him. And then he shows up yesterday afternoon at the White House at, I guess an event for teachers, and then drops this beauty. I have no idea what the context is. I really don't care. Listen to this stupidity, and just... I have no idea what he is talking about.
President Biden: Parenthetically, if you think about it, what was the reason why we led the world beginning around 19, five, six, and seven and eight?
19, five, six, seven, and eight. I don't know. I don't know what to tell anybody about that. I don't know. That's the leader of the free world, apparently. Supposedly. Reportedly. What was the reason why we led the world beginning around 19, five ... 19, five, six, and seven and eight ... question mark.
I hope 81 million people are proud of that. But that wasn't the dumbest thing he said at that event, believe it or not. In a nod to teachers, if this doesn't make your blood boil, I don't know what does as a parent. If you're a parent out there. You're a parent, you've got kids. They're your kids, right? Nobody else's kids. They're yours. You've got responsibility for them. You pay the bills for them. You raise them. You feed them. You clothe them. You put a roof over their heads. You discipline when necessary. You provide opportunity to succeed. You teach.
But not according to Joe Biden. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. When they're in school, they're not yours. They're the teacher's children. Well, actually, he drops the word like in there. Hold on, watch this. Listen to this one.
Oh, they're not somebody else's children. They're like yours when they're in your classroom. I guess these were the Teachers of the Year. What a burden. You got to teach kids. And oh, by the way, the president says, they're yours. I mean, look, I commend the teaching vocation as much as I can. And I got teachers in and around my family. But come on. Come on. They're not like theirs. You can't say that. They're not somebody else's children, because they are somebody else's children. Come on, dude. Come on.
This is why you're getting destroyed in the polls. Stop just kowtowing to this teachers union. Stop genuflecting. Stop being a baby to them. You're being just a baby to the teachers union. Come on, stick up for the country.
That's somebody else's kid there, okay? They're not yours. Not theirs. And good teachers recognize that.
What happened it takes village to raise a family.
We stopped caring for all children, come on man, really my teachers were like my parents they punished us when we needed it,
not just kick the kid out of school or the schools now days don't do anything to helps parents, we are hoping praying teachers care, yes you are the parent when we all can't be there, wake up sheep,
Just following Hillary's mantra, "it takes a commune, oops, I mean a village to raise a child.
Maybe Parents should start acting like parents and not friends.
If students know a teachers political affiliation then that teacher has failed their students.
Ya know, I really enjoy this blog…but when you speak about things you know very little about and demean a challenging profession you sound like a bitch. Teaching well is difficult - maybe not like surgery or combat, but doing it correctly takes patience and knowledge. Throwing a profession under the bus is asinine. And as far as being a parent, in loco parentis is a concept you should study a bit more.
