It's Election Day, Fools!

Most of the country calls it April Fools’ Day. But in Florida and Wisconsin, today is anything but a joke. Serious elections. Serious stakes. The Republican majority in the House hangs in the balance.

Florida’s 1st and 6th congressional districts—vacated by Matt Gaetz and National Security Advisor Mike Waltz—are holding special elections. Republicans currently hold 218 seats. Democrats sit at 213. Four seats remain vacant. A sweep by the Left today would erase any margin Speaker Johnson has. Advancing Trump’s agenda would become nearly impossible. Even one defector on a major vote could derail everything.

In Gaetz’s old seat, Democrats are outspending Republicans 3 to 1. In the 6th District, the gap is 10 to 1. Both districts lean red—but money talks, and the Democrat machine isn’t resting. Conservative voters must show up. Period. Anyone living in those districts who hasn’t voted yet should do it now. Unsure of eligibility? Elections Have Consequences:

Wisconsin’s Supreme Court race proves it. Liberal Susan Crawford vs. conservative Brad Schimel. The outcome will decide the court’s balance—and with it, the congressional map. A win for Crawford means liberal justices redraw GOP-leaning maps before 2026. A win for Schimel could lock those maps in and shut the door on judicial activism.

Wisconsin’s election today could reshape the U.S. House of Representatives.

Elon Musk has put more than $20 million behind Schimel through America PAC and allied efforts—funding town halls, get-out-the-vote campaigns, and posts on X. Democrats cry foul, accuse Musk of vote-buying, and call him a “sinister force.” Noise. The facts remain: This is now the most expensive judicial race in American history, approaching $90 million.

Momentum is everything. A loss here hands Democrats more than bragging rights. It hands them control. Redistricting. Lawsuits. Court interference. Republicans don’t have room for error. Not today. Not in Wisconsin.
