Anything Less than Success Is Unacceptable

Senate Majority Leader John Thune has promised a vote on the SAVE America Act this coming week. 95% of Republicans agree it needs to pass. 83% of all voters support the simple requirements of citizen-only voting and voter ID. Only about half of the Senate agrees.

With a 60-vote threshold, the bill will not pass. That’s why conservatives have been calling on the Senate to restore the filibuster to require Senators to actually stand and speak, lowering the threshold to 51 votes without changing a single rule in the Senate.

If Senate Republicans won’t use the talking filibuster, it’s another episode of Washington failure theater. Republicans need to do what is necessary to deliver on the promises that the voters sent them there to accomplish. Anything less is unacceptable.

Funniest Things:

Hard to keep up.

Coming soon...

Oh, France.

Insane.

So much worse.

Good idea, Chuck!

Republicans need to get their act together.
