The National Archives appear triggered by the U.S. Constitution




Now they are even canceling the Constitution and Declaration of Independence. We wish we were kidding.


The Federalist reports, "The National Archives Records Administration placed a 'harmful content' warning on the Constitution, labeling the governing document of the United States as 'harmful or difficult to view."


Seriously?


"The warning applies to all documents across the Archives’ cataloged website, including the Bill of Rights and the Declaration of Independence," the Federalist noted.

The Federalist continued, “NARA’s records span the history of the United States, and it is our charge to preserve and make available these historical records,” the administration said in a statement. 'As a result, some of the materials presented here may reflect outdated, biased, offensive, and possibly violent views and opinions. In addition, some of the materials may relate to violent or graphic events and are preserved for their historical significance.”


Wow. Even the National Archives people are seeing everything through a woke filter.


The Constitution, the Bill of Rights within it, and the Declaration of Independence - none of it is apparently off limits to the woke mob.


Here are the four most harmful pieces of content to be found in America's founding documents, according to the National Archives:


The first one is easy...


1. All men are created equal


"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."


So reads our glorious Declaration of Independence. But...


How dare the very document that launched America's independence say "men" instead of "people!" So predictable.


Never mind that "men" in this sense means all people. Never mind that the Founder's were saying something positive about human freedom and the unassailable individual rights bestowed upon us by God.


We weren't the only ones who thought this is what might be flagged as "harmful content."


2. Removing supposedly racist language


The Daily Mail reports that the taskforce assigned to find what to censor or alert in our founding documents shared "a spreadsheet of terms that it describes as 'legacy descriptions that use racial slurs and harmful language to describe BIPOC (black, indigenous, and people of color) communities', which it claims are further examples of structural racism. According to the spreadsheet, words like 'crippled,' and 'illegal alien' should be removed and avoided being used again."


3. What the hell does this even mean?!?


The Daily Mail noted, "The NARA says that some of the historical documents may ‘reflect racist, sexist, ableist, misogynistic/misogynoir, and xenophobic opinions and attitudes."


What? We get that wokesters think everyone and everything is racist, but what the hell do some of these words mean?


We don't want to know. Leave our Constitution and Declaration alone.



4. 'Charters of Freedom'


The Daily Mail reports, "The move by the institution, which is also considering retiring the term ‘charters of freedom’ since the founding documents did not grant liberty to everyone, has prompted furious reactions online."


'Charters of Freedom' are how the Constitution and Declaration are presented and described when you visit the National Archives.


But how dare they want to change that? They are charters of freedom. No one ever claimed America was a perfect nation. But we are a country founded on liberty and men and women have died fighting for that cause, from the Civil War and to the civil rights era and beyond


Martin Luther King, Jr spoke of a better freedom for all Americans. The woke mob wants to pretend as if freedom never existed and we should be ashamed. The opposite of King's message.


These people are ghouls and need to be kept as far away from America's founding documents as possible.
