Jesus, Take the Wheel: A Kansas University Mocks Ash Wednesday with LGBTQ Event

Today, February 14, 2024, is not just Valentine's Day, it is also Ash Wednesday. Ash Wednesday is the first day of Lent, it is the beginning of a season of repentance, fasting, and awaiting Christ's Resurrection.

Rather than honoring Ash Wednesday, some students at Fort Hays State University, a university in Kansas, are mocking it, "@FortHaysState turned Ash Wednesday into a LGBTQ event celebrating queerness with glitter and ash."
