The Constitution Doesn’t Reward Cheating

Today, the Supreme Court hears the case that could slam the door on one of the biggest scams in modern immigration policy.

President Trump’s executive order cuts to the heart of it: you don’t get automatic citizenship just by sneaking across the border or hopping off a plane. The 14th Amendment was written to protect the children of freed slaves after the Civil War, not to reward people who fly in, give birth, and leave with a U.S. passport.

Trump’s just saying what no one else has had the guts to say for years.

While Americans follow the rules, others exploit the system and laugh at us for letting them. Trump called it like it is: they think we’re suckers — and they’re not wrong if we keep letting it happen.

This Is About More Than Immigration

The Left acts like this is all settled law. But there’s nothing settled about policies that hand out citizenship to people with no legal tie to the United States.

Birthright citizenship has become a loophole — for illegal immigration, birth tourism, and foreign governments that see our system as something to exploit. It’s not about opportunity. It’s about advantage. And it’s being used to rig the rules against the very citizens this country was built to protect.

Trump’s order doesn’t change the Constitution. It restores it. If you’re not here legally, permanently, and under full U.S. jurisdiction, your child isn’t entitled to citizenship. Period.

This case isn’t just about immigration. It’s about whether we’re willing to defend the meaning of citizenship itself — or keep pretending the system works while it’s being used against us.

The Court has a chance to get this right. And the country is watching.

Thanks for reading today’s Cannon. The fight for America’s future continues — online, in Congress, in the judicial system, and in culture.
