Pray for Texas

Over the weekend, flash floods in the Texas Hill Country flooded the Guadalupe River, sending torrents through local areas that rose 26 feet in 45 minutes. Death tolls have already risen to above 100, with at least 27 children and counselors from Camp Mystic, a private Christian summer camp for girls.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the victims of the tragic flood, and with those who have still not been found.

Brave first responders from local law enforcement to rescue swimmers have been working tirelessly to limit the death toll the 500-year storm wrecked on the area. Including Scott Ruskan, a U.S. Coast Guard rescue swimmer, who has managed to save at least 165 people with his team.

Attacking President Trump Won't Help the Flood Victims

The Left continues to "never let a good tragedy go to waste," as President Obama's Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel once said. They jumped immediately into attack mode, finding creative ways to blame President Trump for the deaths caused by the storm.

President Trump is somehow being blamed for a flash flood because he has worked to partially defund FEMA, NPR, NOAA, and the NWS. It's a ludicrous assertion - not only did every emergency broadcast go out on time, but even the Left-wing Associated Press admitted that these services were actually overstaffed. The facts don't matter to the Left. They only care about undermining the President in any way they can.

But it's all a deflection. The Left is simultaneously playing a blame game over a half-millennium storm, criticizing Trump for undermining federal agencies that, again, were more than fully operational while attacking federal agencies themselves. Between Democrat Mayor of LA Karen Bass attempting to stop immigration officers from conducting deportation efforts and Left-wing lunatics attempting to massacre federal agents at an ICE facility in McAllen, Texas, the hypocrisy knows no bounds.

Pray for our country, pray for the flood victims, and pray for our law enforcement.
