The Conspiracy Theorists Were Right... Again

The Biden administration strong-armed Google to silence Americans, and Google admitted it. What we've known for years has now become part of the public record.

Documents handed to the House Judiciary Committee show that the Biden White House pressured YouTube to remove videos and ban voices that challenged the official line on COVID, politics, transgenderism, or any number of wild reasons the tech giant gave for wielding government directed censorship.

Conservatives have been pointing this out for years only to be called conspiracy theorists. Big Tech, the media, and Democrat politicians rallied to paint anyone who pointed out the obvious as crazy. Well, the conspiracy theorists were right again.

Google is finally reversing course after years of damage. Make no mistake, this was not moderation. This was the federal government working with Silicon Valley to silence dissent. It violated the First Amendment. It violated the rights of every American.

But you won't hear the Left apologize or regret their authoritarian violations of civil liberties. Instead, the Left has been up in arms that Disney-owned ABC and their affiliates - which are private companies - gave what turned into a two-day paid vacation to Jimmy Kimmel. After years of terrible ratings, Kimmel went on air to lie about the Charlie Kirk assassination while making off-color jokes aimed at Trump and MAGA. It's an unbelievable lack of self-awareness by the Left, but thanks to the work of Congressional Republicans, we can add another feather to our tinfoil hats.
