Well, Would You Look at That...

ree

You couldn’t make this up.

After years of hearing that it was “impossible” to shrink government, that cutting federal bloat was cruel, that reform would cause the sky to fall — it turns out all it took was Democrats shutting down the government.

Look at us. Who would’ve thought?

The Democrat-led shutdown grinds on, and while our troops brace for missed paychecks (which President Trump has promised to restore), something remarkable is happening in Washington. The machine is slowing down — and no one outside the Beltway seems to notice.

White House Budget Director Russell Vought said it out loud: “The RIFs have begun.”

That’s government-speak for reductions in force — permanent cuts to federal jobs.

Every day the Democrats drag their feet, more “non-essential” roles are exposed for what they are — non-essential. If this keeps up, Washington’s bureaucracy may get the long-overdue diet conservatives have dreamed about for decades.

Meanwhile, the Trump administration is quietly turning gridlock into progress, pushing through 107 long-delayed confirmations the Left had been blocking. While Democrats posture for cameras, the administration is actually getting leaner, stronger, and more efficient.

Democrats shut down the government to demand more spending on benefits for non-citizens. Instead, they might just hand President Trump the biggest federal downsizing in modern history.

You love to see it.

President Trump Deserves a Nobel Peace Prize

ree

Well, he’s done it again.

After decades of failed “peace talks,” endless wars, and bureaucrats talking in circles, President Trump just pulled off what the so-called experts said was impossible: a lasting peace deal between Israel and Hamas.

The agreement establishes a ceasefire, a phased Israeli withdrawal, and a massive exchange of hostages and prisoners. But the real game-changer is what comes next — the creation of a Board of Peace, chaired by President Trump himself, alongside the U.S., Israel, and regional partners.

This board will oversee reconstruction in Gaza, coordinate international aid, and — most importantly — enforce accountability on both sides. No blank checks. No “trust us” diplomacy. Results only.

After months of stalled negotiations, Trump’s direct, no-nonsense engagement broke the stalemate. Even some of his loudest critics are calling it a breakthrough — one that could rival the Abraham Accords in historic impact.

International observers are already saying it out loud: this may be Nobel Peace Prize–worthy.

Next week, the Board of Peace gets to work. If both sides keep their word, this deal could mark the end of a generation of violence — and solidify Trump’s legacy as the most effective peacemaker of our time.

Real leadership makes peace possible.
