🔎 Lies, Damned Lies, and the Russia Hoax:
The 320-page Durham report, ordered by then Attorney General Bill Barr, has been released, revealing no evidence of Russian collusion with former President Trump. In fact, it not only exonerates Trump from colluding with Russia but also exposes a 'sobering' disparity in the FBI's approach to investigating weak allegations against Trump compared to Democrats. The report highlights the heavy reliance on the Steele Dossier, which was little more than a campaign lie purchased by the Clinton campaign in 2016. Meanwhile, House Republicans are conducting investigations into the potential weaponization of federal government agencies, fighting to defund the Biden agenda, and examining allegations against the Biden family. Additionally, FBI whistleblowers have testified in Congress, shedding light on the systematic use of the FBI as a political weapon by Democrats to suppress political opposition.
💰 Read Between the (Red) Lines:
Default is coming! Experts predict that the United States will default on its debt in early June, leading to panic in Washington. Republicans are the only ones who have passed a bill to avoid default, and Biden has effectively said 'no deal,' without providing any reasonable points for negotiation. What's worse? After doing that, he skipped town and headed to Japan for meetings with other world leaders. It remains unclear whether a deal will be reached in the eleventh hour or if the United States will default. However, what is clear is that Biden's cavalier attitude, lack of negotiation, and refusal to prioritize the American people - all while accepting support from foreign governments - are not helping the situation. Additionally, Title 42 has expired, opening the border to record-setting illegal immigration. Border patrol remains overwhelmed as our national sovereignty continues to fade. Once again, Biden's choice to visit Japan before addressing the southern border, East Palestine, or the families of victims in Tennessee is telling.

Before he left, he planned on returning to finalize debt ceiling negotiations with Republicans - recent reports indicate, though, that the red lines set by each party have left no room for negotiation. Look our for updates as Republicans fight to balance the budget! Election season continues to heat up. Senator Tim Scott has filed for a presidential campaign and is expected to officially announce his candidacy on Monday, May 22. Similarly, the long awaited entry by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is expected to happen Thursday, May 25 - expect more fighting between him and President Trump as they both vie for the Republican nomination.
